The Benefits of Access: Evidence from Private Meetings with Portfolio Firms Becht, Franks, and Wagner, Journal of Finance 81, 739–789, 2026
[Download replication package] — hosted by Wiley (jofi13495-sup-0001)
The package covers 11 figures and 22 tables in the paper and internet appendix. Due to licensing and confidentiality restrictions on the underlying data (abrdn plc, FTSE, LSPD, Compustat), the package uses pseudo data generated to mimic key properties of the original dataset; results will therefore differ from the published paper. A single master file runs all code. Tested on Windows Server 2022 and macOS Sequoia 15.1.
